Sunday 29th at St Mary’s

Tomorrow at St Mary’s we have our quiet communion at 8am, followed by the all-age communion with prayers for healing at 10am, where we will be joined by Peter Clement, The Diocesan Director of Ordinands. At both services we will be reflecting on the story of Jesus at the wedding in Cana. As always, you would be very welcome, and you can check out some of the work that has been done at church this week!

Ongoing Projects

Its been a busy few days at St Marys. We now have the new speakers, microphone and additional inputs on the sound system, I hope you will notice the difference on Sunday! the uneven path from the car park has now been relaid, and we are hopeful that the new carpets will be down in the next few weeks once the final price has been agreed. The work to the roof of both the church and the centre is complete, and so far no leaks have been discovered. I am grateful to all who have been involved in organising this work, particularly our wardens and the Eacotts.

Tomorrow at St Marys

Join us tomorrow at St Marys. At 8am is our quiet communion service, followed at 10am by the baptism of Madeline Herrington as welcome this child into the family of God and mark the beginning of a journey of faith. At both services our reader-in-training Tom Cox will be preaching on the invitation to a new life that God offers us all.

Tomorrow at St Marys

Tomorrow is the second week of Epiphany, and at our 8am and 10am services we will be thinking about unity and mission in the humility of John the Baptist, and Jesus words to his followers to ‘Come and See’. Later at 3-5pm there is Messy Church in the centre for fun, food and not forgetting the action songs!
