There is no 8am service at St Marys tomorrow. The Rev. Brian Jones is filling in for me at the 10am service. The Fairtrade Easter Eggs are in church for those who ordered them, and there will be cakes on offer after the service in aid of Messy Church funds.
If you are trying to locate a family member who may be buried at St Mary’s I have added our database to the ‘Documents’ menu. Or click the link below:
Its Mothering Sunday tomorrow at St Marys – at 10:00 we are joined by Rainbows, Brownies, and Guides. There will be flowers for all the women in church at 8am and 10am as we express our thanks to all those who offer care to others in many different ways. Tomorrow we look at the story of Moses’ mother, and we reflect on how Gods love reaches out to all of us, no matter what our experience of family life may be.

Join us at 8am for a quiet communion, or at 10am when we celebrate the Baptisms of Joseph and Harrison with their families and friends. Our theme is ‘a new life’.
If you missed Robin on Sunday you can hear his sermon in our ‘Media’ section.
Tomorrow we welcome the Rev. Robin Ham as our guest preacher at 8am and 10am. Robin will also be speaking a bit about himself and his work as a pioneer curate in Barrow. Later at 3pm is Messy Church at St Marys centre. Games, activities, songs and stories for children, a brew for parents and carers and a meal thrown in. No charge.
See our Media section for last night’s Ash Wednesday sermon from Julie. Sadly we lost the first few seconds of the recording.
