Andy licensed at St Johns Barrow Island

This Sunday (14th January) Rev Andy is being licensed at St Johns Barrow Island (in addition to his existing role as vicar of St Marys) the service is at 6:30pm and there will be refreshments served afterwards. Do join us for this new phase of ministry for St Johns and for Andy.

This week

Great night at St Marys yesterday as Todd Alexander amazed us all with his illusions and explained his Christian faith as part of the ‘Real Lives’ week. This coming Sunday is our usual 8am communion service, but there is no 10am service as we will be joining with the other churches of the town at the end of the Real Lives events. The celebration service is at 10:30 in the Forum, and you will need a ticket. Later at 3pm is the first Messy Church after the summer break in St Marys centre. This time our theme will be building Gods church together, and there will be Hot Dogs for all!

Sunday 6th August 2017

Tomorrow at St Marys – are you a wrestling fan? Do you remember the days of Big Daddy, or maybe Hulk Hogan or the Undertaker? At our 8am and 10am services we will look at one of the earliest recorded wrestling matches to see what it tells us about the life of faith. Later at 2pm we welcome the families and friends of Evelyn Murray and Elijah Holland as they celebrate their Christening.

This weekend

Today we celebrate the wedding of Andrew and Abi at 11:00, and tomorrow at our 8am quiet communion and 10am all age communion we are reflecting on Jesus parables about the Kingdom of God and the way it transforms us and the world around us.
